The Author
Shelby Voeltz

Shelby Voeltz is a writer, human mom, and dog mom. Originally from Rockford, IL, Shelby now lives in Minneapolis, MN with her husband and daughter. She finds her work with kids as a registered dietitian and diabetes educator fulfilling. Shelby was inspired by her own Peanut to write this book. She thinks the message of “enoughness” is important for kids and adults alike, and hopes you agree!

The Illustrator
DC Ice

DC Ice is a St. Paul, Minnesota based artist who loves to spark nostalgia through illustrating creatures and vintage relics. She graduated with a BFA in illustration from the College of Visual Arts. DC exhibits her work nationwide but shows extensively in the Twin Cities. In addition to her showing at various galleries, she has a shop with her husband at the Northrup King Building in NE Minneapolis.
